Solar & battery options

Use system sizes as starting points, not off-the-shelf answers.

Indicative solar and battery configurations can make comparison easier, but the final system still needs to reflect the property's electricity use, available roof space, equipment compatibility and future plans.

How to compare options

Start with what the system needs to achieve.

A package name or kilowatt figure is useful orientation, not a substitute for design. Compare options by the household problem they solve and the assumptions used to size them.

Smaller and mid-sized residential solar for daytime household loads
Larger solar for high-use homes and growing electrical demand
Solar + battery combinations for generation and storage together
Battery-focused options for compatible existing solar systems

Solar capacity

Panel capacity and inverter capacity are different numbers.

A proposal should clearly state both and explain how the configuration suits the site. Roof layout, inverter limits and expected generation all matter to the final design.

Battery capacity

Usable storage is only one part of battery selection.

Also compare power output, backup capability, compatibility, monitoring and how the battery is expected to cycle in the household.

Residential solar

Home solar designed around how your household uses electricity.

A useful solar design starts with your electricity use, roof and future plans. Calibrasia uses those inputs to shape the conversation around system size, inverter choice, panel layout and whether battery storage should be considered now or later.

Solar + battery

Plan solar generation and battery storage as one system from the start.

Designing solar and storage together makes it easier to align daytime generation, evening demand, inverter architecture, backup goals and future household electrification.

Solar & battery equipment

Compare panels, inverters and batteries by the job they need to do.

Brand matters, but compatibility, warranty terms, monitoring, local support and suitability for the system design matter too. Calibrasia treats equipment selection as part of the complete system rather than a logo comparison.
